What is smmaak’s open studio?

smmaak offers an open studio: you do not follow a workshop, but use their space, equipment and ingredients to make what you want.

They explicitly state this is not a lesson, so you should have the basics for most topics. Professional food makers/caterers can also use the FAVV-approved studio to prepare dishes.

Practical: cleaning up & drinks

• You clean your workspace, put items back in the fridge and wash what cannot go in the dishwasher.
• Water/sparkling water is included; there is an honesty bar for coffee/other drinks.

FAQ (short)

• For chocolate work, you must have taken a class first.
• It’s per person; sharing one recipe with a group is not the intention.
