What is Prototyping Low Carbon Solutions?

Part of Prototyping The Future, this call supports student entrepreneurs prototyping a product, service or technique with a clear impact on reducing greenhouse-gas emissions.

Who is it for?

Student entrepreneurs in a prototyping phase, in collaboration with student incubators and/or lecturers.

  • Incubated
  • Non-incubated (often supported by a lecturer; with additional payout conditions)

  • Indicative planning mentioned: calls launched 22 Jan 2026; selected projects announced in April 2026.

Important payout conditions (as stated)

  • For non-incubated projects: to receive the second tranche, the initiative must enter an incubator/support structure within 12 months and reporting/payment request must be co-signed by that incubator.
