What is Cultuurloket?

Cultuurloket is the Flemish support hub for cultural workers. They offer business support at the intersection of culture, business economics, and legislation: legal, fiscal, and financial.

This is therefore a relevant referral for our target audience — also for musicians, DJs, and organisers of music events who (want to) work professionally in the music sector.

When is this useful?

• You have questions about status (self-employed/employee, combining income, …) in a cultural context.
• You want clarity on invoicing, VAT, and taxes for artistic performances or events.
• You want to know how to pay people correctly (fees, contracts, volunteers, …).
• You are looking for funding or want to structure your project/operation more professionally.
